Alexa & Gregg

The Pugnetti’s & The Czajkowski

April 2017

Life is full of unexpected events.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alexa and Gregg in 2015 while photographing a beautiful wedding. I remember when Alexa contacted me interested in booking an engagement session, I was a little floored. And so excited! We had a blast together at their engagement session…it really felt like we clicked so well! And they were such naturals in front of the camera! It felt amazing when Gregg’s family decided to have me take their family portraits. Meeting and spending time with The Pugnetti’s felt as warm as meeting Alexa and Gregg…I felt so lucky!

We kept in touch after their session to plan out their wedding photography. But as I mentioned before, life can throw some unexpected situations when you least expect it and that things don’t always go the way you would want or plan it to. After some time, they had decided that instead of a traditional wedding that they would have a get together at their new home to celebrate the marriage. Timing for us unfortunately was off and I was in The Dominican Republic at the time photographing another wedding so I wasn’t there for the celebration. Here comes the sweetest part… They really wanted me to be the one to document their union. And I really wanted to be there for them. Between both families having conflicting schedules, we¬†waited until time was best for everyone to get together. And when we did get to meet up… it was amazing!

This time I was able to meet The Czajowski’s…they were all so welcoming and seeing The Pugnetti’s felt so nice! There were lots of hugs (I love hugs!) and definitely lots of laughing. This session meant so much to me on so many levels…to have an ongoing relationship with Alexa and Gregg…to have them make sure that I was able to be part of their milestones…to meet their families who are so sweet and kind…all of it felt so good and I felt more than lucky to be a part of all this magic. Thank you to both families for welcoming me with open arms and thank you to the newlyweds for having me be part of their lives. I absolutely cherish our relationship and always wish you the absolute best! <3
